Perfix Colourless Fixative is a high-quality spray designed to secure charcoal and pastel artworks. It offers excellent water resistance and is simple to apply. The fixative sprays evenly, providing strong smudge protection with just one coat, while having minimal impact on the tones and colours of your work. For best results, lay your drawing flat and hold the can about 30cm away, spraying in a steady back-and-forth motion to ensure even coverage.
Quick drying to prevent smudging, the fixative becomes completely colourless once dry, allowing you to continue working over the surface without altering your artwork. Fixative sprays act like a protective layer, similar to varnish, preserving pigments and graphite from dust and damage.
