Pyrography points [also called woodburning tips or nibs] are heated metal attachments used to burn lines, shading, textures, and details into wood or leather.
Different shapes of pyrography points serve specific artistic purposes:
Common Pyrography Points and Their Uses
Universal / Chisel Point: Great for straight lines, large block lettering, and broad shading.
Shading / Leaf Point: Features a teardrop shape ideal for smooth gradient shading, fine cursive writing, and small dotted details.
Flow Point: Shaped like a rounded bullet tip excellent for curves, circles, and pointillism or stippling [dots].
Cone Point: Useful for fine line work, intricate curves, and consistent dot patterns.
Calligraphy Point: Tapered flat edge designed for crisp lettering and filling in solid shapes.
Transfer Point: A flat, thick tip used to transfer printed paper design copies onto the wood surface rather than for deep burning.
For Greece:We now offer Box Now delivery exclusively for addresses in Greece.
