Paint the tray e.g. with Chalk paint and give it the unmistakable chalky look. In order to protect the paint application, apply a varnish. The wood is processed according to the international FSC™ standard. What is FSC™? What the organic seal for agriculture is, is the FSC™ seal for the forest.
