Embossing powder is a fine synthetic resin powder that melts under the influence of heat, providing stamp imprints with an embossed, varnish-like effect. So your DIY projects are enhanced in a flash. Embossing is not only possible on paper or cardboard, but also on wood, fabric, glass and plastics Caution: the surface to be embossed must be heat-tolerant.
Heres how to proceed with embossing:
1. Impregnate the stamp evenly with the ink from the embossing stamp pad, then press it onto the card or paper.
2. Sprinkle some embossing powder over the still damp stamp imprint.
3. Remove the colour pigments outside the lettering with a cotton bud or paintbrush.
4. Melt the imprint using hot air from a hairdryer.
