CERNIT KIT FINISH GLASS 120+60ML [EPOXY RESIN]

The Kit Finish Glass Cernit is a 2 component epoxy resin based transparent varnish. The resin has a smooth and glossy finish with no bubbles. As the name shows, the resulting hardness and transparency give to your piece a glass-like aspect.

It is possible to colour the resin with solvent-based colours such as Glass paints.

Even in thick layers, the Kit Finish Glass will create well-levelled surfaces.

Components of the set are the following:
* 1 bottle of 120 ml component A epoxy resin
* 1 bottle of 60 ml component B hardener
* 1 small measuring cup
* 2 plastic gloves
* 1 small wooden stick to prepare the mixture
* 1 manual with various techniques

**How to use the resin Kit Finish Glass Cernit ?
– The resin can be used on polymer clay, wood, carton, metal, plaster, ceramic, stone, etc.
– Use with a brush, bristle brush or pour directly from the small cup where the mix has been made.
– Measure 2 doses of component A resin and add one dose of the component B hardener
– Shake during around 2 minutes. It is important that the two are well mixed. If you wish to colour your resin, add some of the solvent-based Glass colours.
– Pour equally on the surface with a spatula.
– If bubbles seems to appear, do not worry ! They will disappear without doing anything after a few minutes break.
– In order to create 3D effects, it is possible to add layers progressively after drying of each layer.
– Drying will take 12 to 24 hours depending on the humidity of the room but also on the thickness of the layer of resin. No baking is necessary !

ADVICES
* Use gloves as the resin will stick to your fingers while working !

* Be careful, the mixture cannot be stored, it will start drying. After 20 minutes, you will notice that the mixture gets thicker and thicker. It has to be used quickly because hardening cannot be reversed.

* Tip: if you end up with a small quantity of unused mixture, you can freeze it for a few days to reuse it. Once unfreezed, do not freeze again or the mixture will loose its qualities.

* It is crucial to prevent any dust from getting on the surface unless they will harden in the resin as flaws on the surface !

* Used material should be cleaned using the Darwi Brush Cleaner
