Georgian Oil Retouching Varnish is a versatile varnish formulated to restore brightness and revitalise areas of oil paintings that have dried dull or lost their original vibrancy. Unlike heavier final varnishes, this varnish is reduced with solvents to produce a much thinner top coat, allowing for subtle enhancement without significantly altering the texture or surface of your artwork. It can be used not only on oil paintings but also on acrylics, making it a flexible choice for various mediums.
Instructions for use: Once your painting is completely dry, apply a thin layer of Georgian Oil Retouching Varnish using a clean brush to refresh and protect the surface. All Georgian Oil products are made in the UK using traditional craftsmanship, ensuring high quality and reliability for professional artists and art students alike.
